I have absence epilepsy and twitch at night?

I have petit mal (absence epilepsy) and in the new year I had 3 big fits and was hospitalized. since then when I'm asleep or very tired (drifting off to sleep or just sitting in the classroom drowsy) I twitch. its not continious as there would be a gap in between, some bigger than others. I feel the big ones but the smaller one i dont feel. Is this something to do with my epilepsy or is it just me?? I really need to know...
